Denver Broncos (2-4) at Arizona Cardinals (1-5)

Thursday, October 18, 8:20PM ET

Man, what a bummer of a Thursday Night Football matchup. After all of the talk about the NFL putting better games together for Thursday nights, this one turned out to be quite the snoozer. Still, I’m making picks for every game, which means this one has to be included as well.

So here it is: the Denver Broncos defeat the Arizona Cardinals in less-than-stellar fashion.

Unfortunately, with both of these teams’ offensive situations, it’s looking like there’s going to be a lot of ugly football on Thursday. Case Keenum hasn’t lived up to expectations for Denver, and Josh Rosen hasn’t exactly looked like a superstar. The only weapon I’m truly excited to watch in this one is Phillip Lindsay, the Broncos’ surprise playmaker at running back.

Either way, this one should be nearly unwatchable. That is unless you enjoy watching defensive battles. Then again, Denver has the upperhand in that regard as well, giving them yet another edge.

If you’re looking for a great way to spend your Thursday night, try doing something other than watching football. If you like wasting time, then tune in and watch all 60 minutes.

Prediction: Broncos win 18-10
