NFL Trade Ideas: 5 Deals that should be made in Week 7
By Jeremy Klump
4. Patrick Peterson to the Pittsburgh Steelers
Just like the Raiders, the Arizona Cardinals stink. They are one of the worst teams in football and it is time for them to move on from one of their best players to start the rebuild process. Luckily for them, they drafted quarterback Josh Rosen in the first round and he looks like he may be able to help them win down the road, with the key words being down the road.
They are not going to win this year and they likely arent going to win too much next year. With that in mind, they need to trade Patrick Peterson and get whatever they can for him.
Peterson is talented, but isn’t the same guy that many believed was the best cornerback in the NFL a few years back. Peterson would be a great addition to the Pittsburgh Steelers, who would add a missing piece to their Super Bowl puzzle.

Joe Haden and Peterson at cornerback may sound like a dominant tandem in 2014, but they can still be more than good enough to help you win in 2018. The Steelers could also make this deal easier if they made one other deal before the trade deadline.
3. Le’Veon Bell to the Philadelphia Eagles
After trading for Peterson, or before, the Steelers need to trade Le’Veon Bell. For starters, I was always on the “Bell is the best running back in the NFL train.” However, after watching the Steelers win football games without Bell and seeing what running back James Conner has been able to do, Bell is a little overrated in my eyes.
He has all the talent in the world, to be sure, but it is clear that playing with Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown helps immensely, no matter who is running the ball. Lets not forget that Steven Ridley played well last year too when Bell was out.
For the Philadelphia Eagles, this one just makes a ton of sense. I was on record saying the Eagles should not trade for Bell, but that was before running back Jay Ajayi tore his ACL and the team announced he was out for the year. With Ajayi done for the year, and no real No.1 running back in the backfield, the Eagles need to go and get Bell.
There are a lot of trade rumors surrarrounding the Eagles, but the Bell one is the only one that truly makes sense for the Eagles. It helps their entire offense and will take the load off of their offensive line that has played horribly.
