3. WR Tyrell Williams

The second-year wide receiver entered the game tied for third on the team with 16 catches, good for 310 yards and three touchdowns. The underrated performer averaged an impressive 19.4 yards per reception as the team took the field against the Tennessee Titans.

And on the Chargers’ first play from scrimmage in the contest, teammate Philip Rivers found Tyrell Williams down the left sidelines for a 75-yard score. The play took all of nine seconds and enabled Los Angeles to erase a 3-0 deficit within the blink of an eye.

There would be three more catches as Rivers found Williams on all four passes thrown in his direction in the contest. The Chargers’ wideout finished with a game-high 118 receiving yards. It raised his season totals to 20 grabs, good for 428 yards and four scores.

The former undrafted free agent from Western Oregon comes off a 2017 campaign in which he played in 16 games and made a career-best 15 starts. Williams finished with 43 catches for 728 yards and four touchdowns.

The Chargers’ passing attack has been one of the best in the league this season and Williams’ ability to help stretch the field is a big part of that success. He could be on the verge of posting career numbers if he continue to play at his current pace.
