32. San Francisco 49ers (31)

For a team that has struggled to earn wins throughout the regular season, the San Francisco 49ers are going to look back at this meeting with the Arizona Cardinals, and wish they didn’t collapse in the fourth quarter. Hanging on to a 15-3 at the beginning of the fourth, the 49ers seemed to be on their way to earn their first victory since Week 2, that is until Josh Rosen and the Cardinals found a way to rally when it mattered the most.

As bad as it sounds, this season is quickly turning into a lost cause as expected for San Francisco since it’s tough to imagine this team finishing above .500 when they already have seven losses heading into Week 9. The 49ers knew they would be in for quite the challenge adjusting on offense without Jimmy Garoppolo after the quarterback suffered a torn ACL, but seeing them suffer three of their last five losses by three points or less shows how frustrating things have been.

Even with three upcoming games against teams with a combined five wins doesn’t seem exciting for San Francisco since they will probably find a way to come up short in those contests as well. At least with the way this season is playing out, the 49ers will most likely secure a high draft pick.
