31. Oakland Raiders (30)

Just when it seemed like the Oakland Raiders were finally going to earn that second win of the 2018 season, the fourth quarter took place against the Indianapolis Colts, in which everything went downhill, and resulted in a 42-28 loss. Once again, the Raiders continue to be one of the biggest laughing stocks in the NFL with a horrendous defense, and a quarterback in Derek Carr that continues to see strong outings go to complete waste.

A quarterback like Carr completing 21 of 28 passes for 244 yards with three touchdowns shouldn’t have to worry about his defense allowing 42 points, but this is just one of many examples involving how this year has been for Oakland. Originally, the hiring of Jon Gruden was supposed to help the Raiders return to the level of a few years ago in which they were one of the top playoff contenders in the AFC.

Instead, Oakland has one win to show heading into November, and if Carr wasn’t already feeling the frustration before, the quarterback also has to deal with adjusting to playing without Amari Cooper, who was traded to the Dallas Cowboys last week. All things considered, why did the Raiders make the decision to pay Gruden that ridiculous contract again?
