Going forward?

So once again, is it really back to another drawing board for this club? Will Williams be retained after closing out the season? That’s impossible to say at the moment, although it’s not like he hasn’t been a head coach in this league previously. But you get the feeling that Dorsey is going to want to bring in one of his guys to see if he can help turn around this woeful franchise.

It will also be very intriguing to see how this team plays throughout the remainder of the season. At the very least, the Browns can still play spoiler in the division. They still have two games remaining with the Bengals and face the Ravens again, this time in Baltimore.

This is a much-improved football team but this latest series of events will be quite the test for Williams, Dorsey and the organization in general.
