3. The defense picks off Jared Goff

Jared Goff is one of the most impressive young quarterbacks. Goff is having an incredible year and hasn’t struggled much at any point in the 2018 season. Thus far, Goff has thrown 17 touchdowns to five interceptions with his last one coming against the Denver Broncos.

As talented as the Broncos defense is, the Saints defense is completely different. Their biggest weapons are the big guys up front like Cameron Jordan, Demario Davis and Sheldon Rankins. Some of the more underrated guys are P.J. Williams, Marcus Williams and Marcus Davenport, though the latter is out due to injury. Against the Rams, though, the Williamses should shine.

For my fist bold prediction, I see the Saints defense picking off Goff. When P.J. Williams returned his interception for a touchdown last week against Minnesota, it completely shifted the momentum against the Vikings. It helped cement their win and that’s exactly what they need to do against the Rams — maybe not score another touchdown, but get takeaways and take advantage of turnovers.

Goff got lucky last week against the Packers, but the Saints are a challenge. Even if they don’t pick him off, they will definitely sack him. Currently, the team is getting at least one sack a game, sometimes more. Either way, I see them getting to Goff and him making hasty throws and possible tossing interceptions.
