Let’s take a look at each team’s ideal free-agent target for the 2019 offseason. Where do the biggest stars land next year in 2019 NFL free agency?

At this point in the season, NFL mock drafts start to appear. Teams that have fallen behind in the playoff picture are starting to look toward the future.

Before the draft frenzy starts and fanbases take a look at the new shiny rookies set to join the league, free agency comes first in March. For some veterans, it’s a time to cash in on years of productivity.

Front offices are willing to overpay for proven commodities who can help bolster weak areas on the roster. Sometimes, it’s best to go with a quick fix as opposed to putting hope into a 21- or 22-year-old first-rounder for an immediate impact.

This year’s free-agent pool will feature star pass-rushers, versatile defensive tackles and high-end guards capable of adding some punch to the of an interior offensive line in the trenches. It’s not a good offseason for clubs that need a lead wide receiver.

Keep in mind, several teams will likely re-sign notable players on expiring contracts, some whom aren’t listed below. While these are ideal options, there’s a realistic thought process for all the selections.
