9. Josh Allen crosses the century mark

Josh Allen (a.k.a. Baby Vick) is killing the league with his legs right now. The Bills rookie has rushed for over 100 yards in two-straight games. It would have been three if not for a kneel down against the Jaguars, which is just tough luck.

Defensively, the Lions have allowed an average of just 82.7 yards per game over the last three weeks. However, they don’t have anyone to contain Allen. Ziggy Ansah is out, but he hasn’t been a factor at all this season anyway. Rookie defensive end Da’Shawn Hand and Romeo Okwara aren’t enough to stop Josh Allen.

Right now, the best weapon the Bills have on offense is the legs of Allen. What he’s doing isn’t on designed runs either. And there’s no reason he’ll stop taking off.

8. Rams wreck Eagles playoff hopes in a blowout

The Rams were embarrassed by the Chicago Bears last week and it may have cost them home-field advantage in the playoffs. One of the teams standing in their way for the home stretch of the regular season, though, is the Carson Wentz-less Philadelphia Eagles.

This week, the Rams aren’t playing in the cold. They’re returning home and the Eagles have no shot at beating them. Sean McVay forgot he had the best running back in the league, Todd Gurley. Against the Eagles, he’ll remember to put the ball in Gurley’s hands and run the offense through him.

The Eagles gave up an average of 124 yards over their last three games. Gurley will surpass that. Because of the run game, Jared Goff will bounce back and throw the ball all over the field. On defense, the Eagles will only hope to contain Aaron Donald. Donald will make Nick Foles uncomfortable, allowing guys like Cory Littleton, Dante Fowler and Samson Ebukam to do their thing.
