Taking stock of the updated 2019 NFL Draft order now that Week 15 is in the books and a win by the 49ers has the Cardinals picking at No. 1 overall.

Entering Week 15, the motto for all teams experiencing little-to-no success in the 2018 season should’ve been to keep losing. At this point, it’s all about maintaining your positioning in the 2019 NFL Draft order. Of course, teams have consistently not followed this mantra as they’ve come up with shocking wins. Last week, it was the Oakland Raiders nabbing a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This week, however, it was the San Francisco 49ers that came up and laid an egg in regards to their tanking. The Niners welcomed the Seattle Seahawks to Levi’s Stadium and picked up a win over their division rivals, beating them in overtime. Thus, the 49ers dropped out of the top-three in the 2019 NFL Draft order.

One team that did do their job in regards to losing was the New York Giants, something that they haven’t been doing of late. After going on a winning streak, the G-Men got blanked by the Tennessee Titans, keeping them in the top 10. But what else happened around the league to shake up the draft?

Here’s a look at the updated 2019 NFL Draft order for the full first round following the action in Week 15 (via Tankathon):

Obviously teams like the Cardinals, Raiders and Jets at the top of the NFL Draft order need to add talent where they can get it. However, looking at teams like the 49ers, Jaguars and Falcons up there with a ton of talent, things could get interesting quite quickly when April rolls around. That is, unless the last two weeks of the season shake things up further.
