This is one of the premier matchups of Week 17, hands down. There’s a lot that could come from this one, depending on what happens elsewhere around the league. Essentially, though, the winner is headed for the postseason and the loser is done.

Yes, you read that right — the victor is guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. The crazy part is that there’s still some much uncertainty regarding where the winner will land. If the Houston Texans lose to the Jaguars, the winner wins the division with the potential to secure either the third or fourth seed. If the Texans win, the victory results in a sixth-seed finish.

So, if this prediction is right, then you’ll be seeing the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs.

It’s been a crazy year for the Colts, who came into the season with bottom-of-the-barrel expectations. Seriously, most folks assumed they’d finish the campaign in last place in the AFC South. Now, there’s potential for them to leapfrog the competition and secure the divisional crown in the final week.

Honestly, it all comes down to Andrew Luck. He’s been the savior for the Colts this year, although we can’t discount their surprisingly stout defense either. Whatever the reason is, Indianapolis will knock off the Tennessee Titans and book their trip to the postseason.
