3. Aaron Donald will be held without a sack

There is no doubt about it, Los Angeles Rams defensive end Aaron Donald is probably the best or no less than top two defensive players in football. The Rams defensive line is very strong, and their 3-4 defensive scheme is very tough to stop with the likes of Ndamukong Suh and Dante Fowler Jr., to name just a couple more players.

That said, if the Cowboys are smart, they will make the other 11 players on the Rams defense step up and be the ones who stop them, and that is why the Cowboys will scheme every play to keep Donald the longest distance away from the play and double-team him to do their best to keep Donald away from Dak Prescott on Saturday night.

The task of keeping Donald — who has 20.5 sacks this season — won’t be easy at all, and it might be too bold of a prediction to believe in, but if the Cowboys want to have a chance to win this game on Saturday night, they had better do everything they possibly can in their power to stop Donald. If he becomes friendly with Prescott in the Divisional Round, the Cowboys can kiss their chances of winning the game goodbye.

Donald isn’t in MVP consideration for nothing, and for the Cowboys to stop Donald, the likes of left tackle Tyron Smith, left guard Connor Williams and even center James Looney are going to have to not just be at the top of their game, but exceed any expectations they have to stop Donald in this game.
