Round 5: Michael Jordan, G, Ohio State

A trade kept the Saints off the board in the first round and then they sit out the third and fourth as well due to deals they made. Their third-round pick landed them Teddy Bridgewater from the Jets whereas their fourth-round pick was sent to the Giants for cornerback Eli Apple.

Finally back on the clock in the fifth, New Orleans looks to shore up the interior of their offensive line by taking Michael Jordan from Ohio State. Listed at 6-6 and 310 pounds, Jordan could push Andrus Peat at guard, something that would make many Saints fans happy.

Round 6: Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State

Another position where the Saints need to add depth is at safety. Both Von Bell and Marcus Williams played well this season, but the depth behind them was questionable. Here, they land Johnathan Abram out of Mississippi State, who can develop into a potential starting option at strong safety.

Originally a member of Georgia, Abram moved to a different Bulldogs team in the SEC and started the past two seasons for Mississippi State. He recorded 71 tackles and a couple of sacks as a junior before adding 99 tackles, three sacks, and two interceptions in 2018.
