Dallas Cowboys: 3 Potential Cole Beasley replacements in 2019 NFL Draft
By Randy Gurzi
3. Andy Isabella, UMass
The first player we look at is Andy Isabella from Massachusetts. Here we have a prototypical slot receiver who has hands like a vacuum. Isabella is listed at 5-10 and 190 pounds and is coming off the best season of his four-year career with the Minutemen.

As a senior, he pulled in 102 receptions for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns. Where he really excelled was with his quick cuts in and out of routes, which is very reminiscent of Beasley. His ability to excel in this area has created great separation for him in his career, which is something the Cowboys really can use as they struggled in this area in 2018.
Where Isabella struggles is as an outside receiver, but with Dallas, he would hardly be asked to do this anyway. They have players capable of this role in Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup.
The one drawback with Isabella is he’s a big-name receiver. Many people are high on him and it might take an early pick to secure his services — possibly even the Cowboys second-round pick. Not owning a first-round selection this season, that may be too steep a price to pay as they have other, more pressing needs. Then again, they didn’t expect Michael Gallup to be there in Round 3, so you never know how things will shake out.
