The number of prop bets for Super Bowl 53 is literally hundreds, but these are your top 10. From the most interesting, to slam dunk winners, we picked out the best of the best for super Sunday.

Super Bowl 53 prop bets range from silly to downright idiotic. They are also the most fun thing to wager on all year, regardless of sport. Let’s get right into it because there are oh so many possible props for Super Bowl 53. Too many to read and too many to wager upon.

That’s why we picked out the top 10 for your gambling pleasure. They appear in no particular order. Todd Salem’s picks are first, followed by Dan Salem’s picks. All lines via Odds Shark.

Two brothers from New York, Dan Salem and Todd Salem, debate Super Bowl 53 in today’s NFL Sports Debate.

How many times will Ted Rath be mentioned during the broadcast?

Under 3.5 +135

Todd Salem: Rath is the man who gained brief notoriety for having the job of holding Sean McVay off the field and out of the way of the referees. This was a fun story for about a day. I can’t imagine he is brought up more than three times in the telecast, even if he is shown doing said job.

Will the Chick-Fil-A franchise in Mercedes-Benz Stadium be open on Super Bowl Sunday?

No -1100

Todd Salem: These are terrible odds, but this is a slam dunk. Chick-Fil-A is not going to change its religious stance because of a football game.

Total QB sacks

Under 3.5 +120

Todd Salem: There is a lot of pass rushing talent in this game, so this feels risky, but the numbers back it up. These two teams had two of the very best offensive lines in football during the regular season. They ranked 1st and 6th respectively in sack rate allowed. The quarterbacks get rid of the ball very fast to boot, whether because of scheme or pocket intelligence or both.

More from NFL Spin Zone

On the flip side, despite talent up front, both defensive lines were kind of crappy this year at putting the opposing quarterback on the ground. Neither team even ranked in the top half of the sport in sack rate.

In their four combined playoff games, the Patriots, Rams, and their opponents have collected a total of 10 sacks. And that includes the four-takedown day for New England against Patrick Mahomes. The other three games saw six total sacks. Which team is suddenly bursting through for multiple sacks, bringing this total above three? I don’t see it.

What will be higher?

Knicks win total 2019 +170
Tom Brady completions in Super Bowl 53 -250

Todd Salem: Thus far in 2019, the New York Knicks are 1-11 and have the worst overall record in the NBA. With 33 games remaining in the season, the Knicks would win just seven more contests on the year if they held their current winning percentage. In what possible scenario does New York suddenly triple that? Can it even notch 10 more wins? Likewise, is there a scenario where Brady completes fewer passes than that? Even if the Patriots pound the ball and limit possessions, Brady should easily complete 15 passes and likely cruises past such a low threshold.

What will be higher?

Russell Westbrook points/assists/rebounds total vs Celtics Feb. 3 -140
C.J. Anderson rushing yards in Super Bowl 53 EVEN

Todd Salem: The ideal scenario for Westbrook in this instance would be a triple-double resulting in some total around 40. He averages 43.4 pts/ast/rb per game right now, but that may be high here considering the Celtics have one of the best defenses in the NBA.

Even if Todd Gurley returns to full health and is the lead back, I can’t imagine Anderson being shunned from the rotation. He was unstoppable in the Rams’ first playoff game and was the lead back the following round. Not to mention, New England allowed 4.9 yards per carry during the regular season, which was one of the worst marks in the entire league.

How many plays will Tony Romo correctly predict during the game?

Over 7.5 -140

Dan Salem: This should be a fairly easy bet to win. Considering the first 15 plays of each half are scripted by each team in advance, as well as the fact that the Patriots do the exact same thing in their two minute drill every time, Romo will have ample opportunities to nail his play calls. He is on a hot streak which is destined to continue.

How many times will the broadcast mention Sean McVay’s age?

Over 1.5 -175

Dan Salem: McVay would be the youngest coach to win the Super Bowl, if his Rams prevail. This will certainly be mentioned at the start of the game at least once. It will also get mentioned near the end of the game no matter who is leading. This is because Bill Belichick would be the oldest coach to win, versus the youngest coach. I love this bet.

Will the roof of Mercedez-Benz Stadium be open for kickoff?

No +135

Dan Salem: Its been very cold in Atlanta, so I can’t envision a scenario in which they would have the roof open at kickoff. Barring a stupid decision, they will leave it closed.

Will there be a penalty for roughing the passer?

Yes +105

Dan Salem: Tom Brady gets at least one of these calls every game. Its just referee mathematics.

Will Gladys Knight forget or omit a word from the national anthem?

Yes +300

Dan Salem: I feel like Gladys Knight will put her own spin on the anthem, meaning she drops a word to smooth out her rendition. No one said the word had to be important, so I believe this happens.
