Miles Boykin, Notre Dame

Miles Boykin from Notre Dame saw his draft stock skyrocket on Saturday, starting with his vertical jump where he jumped out of the building recording a 43.5-inch leap. The Notre Dame wideout put his name on the radar of NFL scouts and general managers and will find himself examined closely from this point on in the pre-draft process.

Outside of the vertical jump, Boykin blazed a 4.42-second 40-yard dash, and leaped a long 11.67 feet on his broad jump. While he is destined to draw comparisons to Kansas City Chiefs receiver Chris Conley, Boykin put up a much healthier time in his 3-cone drill and shuttles than Conley did. The analytics definitely side with Boykin as well. His day definitely turned heads of the big names sitting in the suites at Lucas Oil Stadium.

While Boykin’s draft stock has remained a bit of a mystery to this point, the 6-4, 220-pound receiver tested off of the charts, and may hear his name called in day-two, and that even may be a steal.

For a receiver with only 1,200 yards receiving and 11 touchdowns in three years with the Fighting Irish, Boykin looks to have the build and testing numbers of a big time threat at the next level, testing in the 75th percentile or above in every drill except the bench press.
