Round 3, Pick 84: Oshane Ximines, EDGE, Old Dominion

Pegged as a freak athlete, Oshane Ximines failed to capitalize on that at the combine with the potential to launch himself into the first round. Instead Ximines will likely see his stock fall into the third round, needing a solid pro day to rebound.

Of all edge rushers, Ximines failed to rank above the 66th percentile in any one drill or measurement. While many expected Ximines to run in the low 4.6s or even high 4.5s, the Old Dominion product managed to barely break 4.78 and ranked in the bottom 20th percentile in the 20-yard shuttle, failing to display the explosiveness that he we built up to have.

Luckily, Ximines still has outrageous production in college on his level. Hoping to be the first Monarch in school history to be drafted, Ximines posted a resume of 32.5 sacks, 51 tackles for loss, one interception and 11 forced fumbles throughout his career. In addition he has solid Senior Bowl tape as well that should stop him from falling outside of day-two.

Ending his skid, the Seahawks snag him in the third round to bookend Clark and groom him in case they cannot lock Clark down on a long-term deal in this next year that they have bought themselves.
