During the club’s Super Bowl championship season of 2017, you could make a case that the offensive line of the Philadelphia Eagles played as well or better than any other front in the league. The team was able to overcome the loss of veteran left tackle Jason Peters the second half of the year and in the postseason.

It’s a talented group that also includes Pro Bowlers such as center Jason Kelce, right guard Brandon Brooks and right tackle Lane Johnson — as well as three-year left guard Isaac Seumalo.

But the team could use a little more depth due to the fact that both versatile interior blocker Stefen Wisniewski (who made seven starts in 2018) and guard Chance Warmack are both unsigned free agents. General manager Howie Roseman could turn to April’s draft to add some prospects. Philadelphia has seven overall selections, including a pair of picks in both the second and fourth rounds (zero in the third round).

Roseman might could also go another route, though. The Eagles could take a look at versatile blocker Jeff Allen, who began his career with the Kansas City Chiefs as a second-round pick in 2012. He’s seen action at both guard and tackle. He returned to the Chiefs in 2018 after two seasons and 26 games and starts with the Houston Texans, primarily at right guard. The seven-year pro has started 66 times in 80 regular-season outings.
