1. WR Dez Bryant (New Orleans Saints)

You have to go back to 1977 and the last year of a 14-game schedule in the NFL to find a team that finished dead last in the league in total yards per game, rushing yards and passing yards. That would be the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who were in only their second season of existence.

But that’s what happened this past season when it came to the Arizona Cardinals, who also scored an NFL-low 225 points. The team produced just 24 offensive touchdowns, including just 15 through the air. And ageless wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald has six of those aerial scores.

There are a number of veterans who could certainly help. One such suggestion would be former Dallas Cowboys’ wideout Terrance Williams. However, he comes off a lost season in which he was limited to three games due to injury and suspension. Jermaine Kearse, late of the New York Jets, is still available as well.

But who is anyone to argue with a performer this confident? Eight-year veteran and three-time Pro Bowler Dez Bryant recently took to his Twitter account and stated “I will be a steal wherever I go…bet on it.”

Of course, there was no football for Bryant in 2018. Shortly after signing with the Saints last November, he suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon in practice and never took the field for a game. But he’s out there waiting for a team to give him a chance. While he struggled during his final season with the Cowboys in 2017, he still managed a respectable 69 grabs for 838 yards and six scores and is certainly worth kicking the tires on.
