45. Atlanta Falcons: Cody Ford, OG, Oklahoma

It’s time for the Atlanta Falcons to address their problems on the offensive line. They keep trying to put a band-aid on a weakness, but here they bulk up the guard spot with Cody Ford out of Oklahoma. He should start day one and will help in both the pass and run game.

46. Washington Redskins: Amani Oruwariye, CB, Penn State

Adding Landon Collins improves the Washington secondary dramatically, but it doesn’t complete them. They struggled throughout the 2018 season with stopping the pass, so they focus on improving here with Amani Oruwariye out of Penn State. A big corner at 6-2, Oruwariye has a shot to grow into a No. 1 corner in the NFL.

47. Carolina Panthers: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford

After losing Devin Funchess in free agency, the Carolina Panthers need someone who can line up outside and make plays. That’s why they grab J.J. Arcega-Whiteside from Stanford. The 6-2, 225-pound receiver had 14 touchdowns as a senior and provides Carolina with a great compliment to D.J. Moore.

48. Miami Dolphins: Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State

Whether the Dolphins go with a rookie like Drew Lock — who they took in the first round of this mock  — or their veteran pickup Ryan Fitzpatrick, they will need some weapons to help them along. That’s where Josh Oliver of San Jose State comes in. He’s a big target with a lot to like as a pass catcher and providers whoever ends up under center a great option as a hot route.
