4. Pittsburgh Steelers

Vince Williams is an absolute beast for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Over the last two seasons, he’s racked up 13.5 sacks while manning one of the two inside linebacker spots. Still, he’s not the same dynamic player that Ryan Shazier was.

Pittsburgh’s defense is missing a guy who can drop into coverage, play the run and rush the passer equally. In the 2019 NFL Draft, there’s a player tailor-made for the Steelers: Michigan’s Devin Bush. Unfortunately, Bush won’t be around long enough for the Steelers to select in their current position.

The linebacker class is thin, and even that is stretching it. If a team isn’t taking one of the Devins they’ll be hard pressed to find an eye-popping talent. After Devin White gets drafted, teams needing an inside linebacker will want Devin Bush.

Therefore, the linebacker-hungry Steelers must trade up to make Bush a Steeler. The Steelers have a pair of third-round picks. Packaging one of those with their first-round pick might be enough to get them inside the top 15. Pairing Bush next to Williams with T.J. Watt and Bud Dupree gives the Steelers a scary linebacker corps.
