1. Giants could address other needs at No. 6

As much as the Giants realize their need at finding the next successor to Manning, they’re also in a difficult position when looking at some of the other needs the team would love to address in the first round.

With the No. 6 pick, New York has been linked to potential quarterbacks in most drafts, but also the team needs major help with the offensive line along with adding another edge rusher. If the Giants were to acquire Rosen from the Cardinals, this would mean they could use that first-round pick on a different position and put them in much better shape heading into the 2019 season.

Right away, one potential prospect outside of the quarterback position that stands out if this were to happen is Jonah Williams out of Alabama since he’s one of the top offensive tackles in the draft for a reason.

For maybe a year or so, Manning would hopefully benefit from the presence of Williams if this were the direction they were leaning towards. But most importantly, it would help provide the necessary protection for Rosen in the long run as well, which may be the most important factor of all for a team going through some rebuilding in the Giants.
