2. Potential duo with Barkley for long run

Around this time last year, the Giants were weighing out all potential options with the No. 2 pick in the draft since there were plenty of great quarterbacks to consider before they decided to roll with former Penn State star Saquon Barkley.

To this day, there are still some critics that believe New York would have been better off going with a quarterback such as Sam Darnold over Barkley, but also the star running back wasted little time showing how dangerous of a player he can be on offense.

Whether he’s needed on the ground or simply as a receiver to catch that quick pass, Barkley has proven to do whatever it takes to help the Giants on offense.

Of course, as exciting as the future is for Barkley, New York realizes the best way for him to continue living up to the potential is making sure he has the right quarterback to work with so there won’t be as much pressure on him to carry the load each game.

With someone like Rosen, the Giants would potentially have a new dynamic duo of the future since he and Barkley happened to come from the same draft class, which is rare in the NFL these days.
