3. WR Anthony Miller

Anthony Miller was a player the Bears traded up for in the draft last year, and he was worth it in Year 1 despite not putting up super crazy counting stats. He had 33 receptions for 423 yards. The area he really excelled in though was the red zone with seven touchdowns.

He averaged one touchdown every time he caught five passes. With another year of experience in Nagy’s offense, Miller can be an elite member of this offense.

During Miller’s final two years in college at Memphis, he had 191 receptions for 2,896 with 32 touchdowns. He was the best weapon on his offense, but teams still couldn’t slow him down. When you’re playing in an offense like the Bears, you’re going to have the same situation just with more weapons around you. Nagy is going to get the ball in Miller’s hands often because he knows the plays that he can make happen.

An important piece for Miller this year will be his health along with the growth of Trubisky. As long as both of those go well, he’ll have no problem in developing into the talented young stud that he has the ceiling to be. His shoulder injury slowed him down as the year went along, but he should be recovered from that by the time next year rolls around. This Bears offense is getting better, and Miller will be a key part of that.
