Buffalo Bills: 5-11

Missing out on the playoffs last season after a surprise appearance the year before was crushing to see for the Buffalo Bills. But on a positive note, at least the offense seems to finally have a potential quarterback to build the franchise around in Josh Allen.

During the 2018 NFL Draft, the Bills had an extra advantage over most teams with two picks in the first round. While there were some questions surrounding whether they made the right choice with Allen, the Bills loved what they saw from his rookie campaign.

Like most young quarterbacks in his position, Allen clearly still has a lot of areas in need of improvement. That being said, Buffalo should be thankful he was able to gain early experience as a rookie that will likely help him out in the long run.

As every football fans knows, the Bills face one of the most difficult tasks playing in the same division as Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. With other games against the AFC North and NFC East as well, 2019 could turn out to be quite challenging for Buffalo.

Could this result in another year of rebuilding for the Bills? At this point in the offseason, it’s difficult to tell. Despite some of the key moves made in the offseason, Buffalo still has a lot to prove when it comes to showing the Bills can compete with the best.

However, the good news for the Bills is if Allen at least manages to take another step in the right direction in 2019, the offense will only get better moving forward.
