5. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks have had a winning season every year since 2012. That was when quarterback Russell Wilson first took over and they’ve been a model of consistency ever since. However, they’re no longer dominating the NFC West the way they used to.

That’s because of the way the Los Angeles Rams have improved under head coach Sean McVay. They’ve won the West two seasons in a row now and while Seattle made it as. Wild Card entrant in 2018, they missed out in 2017.
Last year’s Seattle team was a bit of a surprise for them after the noise that was going on around them. They released Richard Sherman and saw Cliff Avril and Kam Chancellor retire due to injuries. On top of that, they had Earl Thomas fighting them for a new contract while asking for a trade due to the lack of progress on that deal.
This season, they had more going on as rumors of Russell Wilson being traded took place. Eventually, they ended up paying him a huge amount of money but didn’t add much around him. They also saw more injuries claim veterans as Doug Baldwin is no longer on the team.
Seattle’s defense will also be a question as they reached for L.J. Collier and traded away Frank Clark. Ezekiel Ansah replaces Clark but has a long injury history. Seattle won’t be a bad team, but it’s hard to say they improved and that could lead to them just missing out on the playoffs.
