WR Marvin Hall

The Chicago Bears have a much different wide receiver corps than they had two seasons ago. In 2017, the Bears were dead last in receiving yards. They had no one who could create separation or who could be a playmaker.

Things changed last season. General manager Ryan Pace did a great job of overhauling the unit. He added Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel and Anthony Miller to change the fortune of the passing game.

This offseason, Pace surprised many and added to the wide receivers corps again. He drafted Riley Ridley and picked up Emanuel Hall. In the process, he turned the unit over and made it one of the most athletic units in the NFL.

Pace also added Marvin Hall. Hall came over from the Atlanta Falcons and brought speed and athleticism to the unit. Coming into the spring, his chances of making the team were long. It looked like the two Halls and Javon Wims would battle for the last two roster spots.

It still looks like that but Marvin has a better shot at grabbing one of those last spots. He had a strong showing during OTAs and minicamps, opening some eyes. Additionally, Emanuel suffered an injury that shut him down, giving Marvin a longer look. If Marvin Hall has a strong training camp and plays well in the preseason games, he could sneak in and take one of those final spots.
