Leonard Fournette at the top of the round could prove to be the best pick by far as we all know he has RB1 talent. Last season was truly up and down for the Jaguars runner, but he has pledged to bounce back huge. Aaron Jones this early is the biggest risk of the round. At the 22nd overall selection, Jones is the definition of risk-reward.

Zach Ertz and George Kittle both have earned their spots and are respectively worth the third-round choice. Both had amazing seasons last year without their respective starting quarterbacks for part of the season and can be a true advantage over your opponents.

Patrick Mahomes was the first quarterback off the board and he deserves to be that. Last season was the first year in a while that a quarterback was the main reason many fantasy football teams won their championship and there is a good chance he could be taken even earlier. 417.08 points is hard to replicate but he is an unstoppable stud.

The two picks that could prove to do the most damage for owners this season are the selections of Devonta Freeman and Julian Edelman.

Freeman is now the lone back in the Falcons backfield as Tevin Coleman has moved on to San Francisco. He is a candidate for bounce back player of the year. Edelman, on the other hand, has been a secret league winner in his healthy seasons and may be the best WR2 available. Plenty of value in Round 3.
