Stat predictions

Treadwell makes the final roster at the end of training camp by my estimation. He understands that his future is at stake and he needs to prove himself to earn a new contract. The Vikings need to utilize as many of their weapons as possible on offense.

With a hungry Treadwell and an offense ready to bounce back, 2019 could finally be the year the Vikings get the most out of their young wide receiver. After all, Treadwell is still just 24 years old. He showed vast improvements in 2018 and has his future on the line.

Before I give my final predictions, there are a few things to remember. The Vikings still have a bunch of money tied to their two star receivers. The run game is expected to take a big step forward this season. Kirk Cousins has quite the arsenal at his disposal, so the ball will be spread around.

If last season was any indication, Treadwell is on the right trajectory. His numbers have improved each year he’s been in the league. Of course, it was hard for his production to drop, but at least there’s been improvement. Assuming that the same trend continues, Treadwell will earn himself a second chance in the NFL, whether that be in Minnesota or elsewhere.

I estimate Treadwell catching 47of his targets for 435 yards and five touchdowns. His size will finally be utilized in the red zone and I think he will get some chances to finish drives. The Vikings want to get the most out of Treadwell while they still can.
