Atlanta Falcons: Dan Quinn (2015-2020)

Yes, fans of the Atlanta Falcons probably want to forget about Dan Quinn but there is no denying he had a big impact during his first few years as head coach. So much so, that even though he was relieved of his duties in 2020, he has returned to his defensive coordinator roots with the Dallas Cowboys.

The fact is there’s not a lot of competition when it comes to the greatest head coaches of all time when it comes to the Falcons. Dan Reeves was an option, as he was the first coach of theirs to get them to the Super Bowl.

The problem is, Reeves was rather mundane outside of that one season where Jamal Anderson put the Dirty Birds on his back and ran them to the NFC title. Overall, Reeves had a losing record as he was 49-59-1 as their shot caller.

Quinn also took the Falcons to the Super Bowl in 2016. They should have won it with some better offensive play calling at the end. Whether you love him or hate him, Quinn has officially tied Reeves for the most playoff wins as a coach in Atlanta’s history. He always wanted to win it all and years from now, hopefully, that is what fans will remember.
