Things are different in big ways for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers entering the 2019 NFL preseason. Both teams have undergone immense changes that could have drastic effects on how the upcoming campaign and the futures of the organizations play out. First, though, these two teams clash to begin their preseason schedules.
Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell are gone from the Steelers now. Now, JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner take over those respective roles and look to keep Ben Roethlisberger and the offense humming.
On the defensive side of the ball for Pittsburgh, Devin Bush arrives on defense in hopes of solidifying the linebacker corps that needs a top-tier playmaker, which the rookie has the potential to be.
Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers enter this season with a ton to prove, especially for the quarterback. He’s in the final year of his contract and needs to earn a new deal. Helping him do that will be new head coach Bruce Arians, who has big hopes for him.
