32. Oakland Raiders (31)

The strange saga of Antonio Brown is all over social media right now and it has to have the Oakland Raiders highly concerned. Originally, he was out of practice after getting frostbite on his feet from Cryotherapy but suddenly, there became another reason he was out.

Reports surfaced on Twitter Friday that Brown was filing a grievance against the NFL over the use of his helmet. The style Brown has used for years is apparently no longer approved by the league and he’s not willing to change. The Pro Bowl wideout has even gone to some odd lengths trying to get his way.

First, he flipped out about the incident then acted as though nothing happened and started practicing again. Brown followed this up by trying to repaint his old helmet and sneak it onto the practice field. He was caught (of course) and now is threatening to retire if he doesn’t get his way.

Oakland is the center of the HBO series ‘Hard Knocks’ this season and we can only hope most of this was caught by the cameras — especially the repainted helmet that I pray was done by Brown himself by hand.

While it’s all entertaining for us, this is the last thing any NFL team needs. Brown started to become too big for Pittsburgh and the Raiders probably would have been wise to have avoided the temptation to add him this year. It’s looking as though this won’t end well.
