7. player. 48. . QB. Utah State. Jordan Love

I am part of the Jordan Love hype train, and I am not getting off anytime soon. If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are selecting inside the top 10 once again, clearly things didn’t go very well with Jameis Winston’s final year of his rookie deal. This gives an opportunity for head coach Bruce Arians to find his guy for the future.

If his track record is any indicator, he will go for the stronger armed passer compared to the short to intermediate thrower in Georgia’s Jake Fromm.

While Love still has maturation to take place, he demonstrates some of the baseline attributes that make for a potential franchise quarterback. With size, arm talent, accuracy and superb toughness, Love is my pick as a huge riser during this 2020 NFL Draft cycle.

50. . S. LSU. Grant Delpit. 8. player

One of the two best players in the 2020 NFL Draft fall right into the Detroit Lions’ lap with the eighth overall pick. The versatile possibilities that Grant Delpit could provide for a secondary that has improved leaps and bounds recently is an interesting proposition.

Quandre Diggs is slated to start at strong safety, but also represents a nice option as a nickel defender. Delpit is also an easy fit into the nickel himself. Wherever you choose to ultimately line him up, you are getting a potential face to your franchise.

It’s not often a blue-chip prospect falls this far. If the Lions could get Delpit here, turn in the card and never look back.
