Picks 1-10

1. Miami Dolphins: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Call me a believer in Josh Rosen but the Miami Dolphins won’t draft a quarterback in 2020. Instead, they take perhaps the best players in the draft class, the dynamic and sure-handed Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama, giving Rosen a playmaking wide receiver to grow with.

2. Cincinnati Bengals: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama

Pick your poison between Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert at quarterback but, in an SEC-centric NFL Mock Draft, the Alabama signal-caller mercifully brings the Andy Dalton era to an end in Cincinnati.

3. Washington Redskins: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia

Despite Jay Gruden and Washington’s insistence that Trent Williams isn’t going anywhere, it doesn’t seem like he’s about to play for this team. They need a new stalwart left tackle and Andrew Thomas has that type of potential.

4. Arizona Cardinals: Grant Delpit, S, LSU

With Thomas off the board, there’s a drop-off in SEC offensive linemen. Thus, the Cardinals look elsewhere and add a bonafide star playmaker to their secondary with Grant Delpit, a do-it-all, generational talent at safety.

5. Buffalo Bills: Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama

Josh Allen has a cannon of an arm and the Bills give him a monster deep threat with Henry Ruggs III, who might be the fastest NFL Draft prospect we’ve ever seen. Don’t be fooled, he has polish to go with his speed as well.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU

The Bucs have swung at cornerback prospects frequently in recent years but have rarely hit, at least not yet. As of now, the secondary needs help and Kristian Fulton is a high-quality reinforcement that can help solidify that group.

7. Detroit Lions: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama

While the Lions may have selected Jahlani Tavai in the second round in 2019, the linebacking corps still needs reinforcements. Dylan Moses can provide that alongside Tavai and Jarrad Davis, giving them an athletic group in the middle of the defense.

8. New York Giants: Derrick Brown, DT, Auburn

If you’re the Giants at this point, it’s about taking the best player available and moving on. Derrick Brown fits that bill as a dynamic defensive tackle that can provide pass rush up the interior.

9. New York Jets: Jabari Zuniga, EDGE, Florida

Unless Jachai Polite sheds his horrendous pre-draft process stigma, the Jets still need to beef up their edge pass-rushers. Jabari Zuniga played with Polite but seemingly has a much higher floor to go along with some upside.

10. Tennessee Titans: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia

Some might say that the Titans could be in line for a quarterback but I’m not giving up on Marcus Mariota just yet, for better or worse. Instead, a largely complete roster looks to upgrade from Derrick Henry, adding the versatile and explosive D’Andre Swift to the roster.
