NFL Mock Draft SEC
ATLANTA, GA – DECEMBER 01: Jake Fromm #11 of the Georgia Bulldogs looks to pass the ball in the first half against the Alabama Crimson Tide during the 2018 SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on December 1, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images) /

Picks 11-21

11. Denver Broncos: Raekwon Davis, DT, Alabama

While Dre’Mont Jones and DeMarcus Walker may offer some upside for the Broncos three-man front, neither player has the potential of Raekwon Davis. A versatile game-wrecker, the Bama product can be a beast at the next level.

12. Indianapolis Colts: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia

It remains to be seen if the Colts will immediately look to replace Andrew Luck in the 2020 draft but they do so here with Jake Fromm still sitting on the board as one of the top overall quarterback prospects in the class.

13. Oakland Raiders: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida

The Jon Gruden overhaul of the Raiders continues as he gets a new cornerback into the mix. C.J. Henderson is a sound corner with great instincts and ball skills that can make him a weapon in the Oakland (Las Vegas) secondary.

14. Jacksonville Jaguars: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama

Don’t look now but the Jaguars cap situation may put them in serious need of revamping the defense. They do so again by taking Xavier McKinney, another Alabama defensive back ready to show out in Tuscaloosa.

15. Baltimore Ravens: K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU

Put K’Lavon Chaisson on your radar. While he’s been kept a secret to this point, the build and physical potential of the LSU edge rusher is out of this world and the Ravens, fresh off losing Za’Darius Smith and Terrell Suggs, could take him and mold him into a star.

16. Carolina Panthers: Jared Pinkney, TE, Vanderbilt

Greg Olsen is getting up there a bit and the Panthers need to keep Cam Newton happy with weapons around him. Jared Pinkney could be a stud at tight end, especially in a revamped Vanderbilt offense.

17. Seattle Seahawks: Kalija Lipscomb, WR, Vanderbilt

Though they took D.K. Metcalf in the second round last year, let’s not pretend that the Seahawks have a deep wide receiver corps. With Doug Baldwin gone, they need more quality players at the position and Kalija Lipscomb is a versatile player worth their while in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft.

18. Houston Texans: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn

Yes, the Houston Texans took two offensive linemen in the top 100 of the 2019 draft. No, they aren’t the answer, in my opinion at least. Prince Tega Wanogho needs a bit of technical progression but the tools are there for him to be a quality NFL tackle.

19. Atlanta Falcons: Terrell Lewis, EDGE, Alabama

If he can stay healthy, Terrell Lewis has the potential to be a force as an edge rusher at any level. The Falcons need to beef up that part of their defense, especially if Takkarist McKinley doesn’t make the leap soon.

20. San Francisco 49ers: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama

Questions remain about the 49ers secondary and for good reason. This is a group with players that are either past their prime or still needing to prove themselves. Trevon Diggs also needs to stay healthy but his physical profile projects him as a quality NFL corner with lockdown potential.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers: Albert Okuegbunam, TE, Missouri

With Jesse James gone in 2019 free agency, the Steelers may still not be inclined to take a first-round tight end. They need a replacement, though, and Albert Okuegbunam is an athletic specimen that can step in and be a playmaker for Ben Roethlisberger.
