The Los Angeles Rams have one of the best offenses in the NFL but that doesn’t mean these players should be on your fantasy football roster.

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off of their first Super Bowl appearance since 2000, though many fans in the City of Angels would like to forget about how they fared against the Patriots in February. But much like that 2000 team, the 2018 Rams also boasted a ridiculous offense that averaged 30 points per game and produced a multitude of fantasy football standouts.

Entering the 2019 NFL season he Rams have a powerhouse core of young superstars and, under head coach Sean McVay, they should have plenty of big fantasy football performances throughout the year. But even with that, not every player in Los Angeles is worth a draft pick.

If you’re heading into your fantasy football draft, be sure to avoid these three Rams in regards to standard scoring, 10-team leagues.

3. Josh Reynolds, WR

More from NFL Spin Zone

After Cooper Kupp went down with a torn ACL in the 2018 campaign, Josh Reynolds stepped in and did his best to replace Kupp. Reynolds totaled 29 receptions, 402 yards to go along with five touchdowns in 10 games played. That equates 70 fantasy points in ESPN standard scoring, that’s not the numbers you’re looking for when drafting a wide receiver.

With Kupp and other receivers like Brandin Cooks and Robert Woods fully healthy, Reynolds is unfortunately left out of that three-headed wide receiver monster and will see limited field time as long as those three guys are healthy all season. Barring a serious injury like last season, I don’t see him being fantasy relevant and he should be left off of your draft board.

2. Tyler Higbee, TE

The Rams are like the Jets in that they basically only use their tight ends to run block and not be a big part of their passing offense. Tyler Higbee did not have a game over nine fantasy points (in ESPN standard scoring) last season.

Higbee tallied 24 catches for 292 yards and two scores, good for 40 fantasy points. That is not the kind of output you’re looking for in a starting tight end. Even after the injury t Kupp, Higbee’s fantasy production didn’t increase at all.

To put it simply, the Rams don’t use their tight ends enough to warrant using a draft pick on Tyler Higbee and all of this also goes for fellow tight end Lance Kendricks too.

1. Darrell Henderson, RB

The Rams traded up to select Darrell Henderson in the third round of the 2019 draft and they expected him to fit right in as Todd Gurley‘s backup. Unfortunately, he has not progressed as fast or as well as the Rams had initially had hoped.

He was lackluster in his first three preseason games and fellow running back Malcolm Brown is the favorite to be the backup to Gurley. Through three preseason games, Hendersons longest run was just nine yards, although he wasn’t playing with the starters. If you are going to draft a handcuff to Gurley, I would lean towards Malcolm Brown.
