Quarterback Starts

Dak Prescott, Cowboys (Matchup: vs. Giants)

Dak Prescott is in the position to carve up one of the worst defenses in football, with Ezekiel Elliott at his aid now. In his two games last season against the Giants, Prescott averaged 24.2 points per game. The Cowboys will look to be up for much of this game with the Giants being one of the lesser teams in football, only resulting in more opportunities for Prescott and Co.

With Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup as his main receiving weapons for a second season, expect Prescott to be sitting on this list plenty this season. As Dak trying to get that big extension this season, expect him to ball out all year long, especially if Zeke was to sit out most of Week 1 while he gets his legs back underneath him.

Matthew Stafford, Lions (Matchup: at Cardinals)

People seemingly forget how good Matthew Stafford has been in his long career when it comes to fantasy football. His struggles last season occurred when he had literal broken bones in his back but still played through it. With a matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, he has a shot to totally bounce back against one of the worst defenses in football who will be without All-Pro corner Patrick Peterson.

As Detroit is expected to be more run-oriented this season, Stafford as a streamer this week will be tough to pass up with a great chance to take down the Cardinals. As Arizona is expected to go fast and high-paced, opportunity should be real for Stafford and Detroit to put up big offensive numbers. A nice 20-point performance is believable.
