7. Jason Garrett

Before any Dallas Cowboys fans freak out over the fact that Jason Garrett is on this list after helping the team reach the Divisional Round of the playoffs last season, take a few factors into consideration.

More from NFL Spin Zone

For starters, while Garrett and the Cowboys have every reason to be thrilled over Ezekiel Elliott finally agreeing to a massive contract extension, there are no guarantees the star running back will be in the proper shape.

Missing all of training camp and preseason could very well result in Elliott looking a bit rusty at the beginning of the season.

And if this happens to result in Dallas losing games they should be winning, it’s only going to increase the pressure on Garrett.

Over the years, one of the most popular topics of discussion has been whether Garrett is the right answer at head coach for the Cowboys since the always seemed to struggle to live up to high expectations.

If Dallas gets off to a hot start, and shows they can in fact continue to be a top contender in the NFC, then this becomes a non-issue for the Cowboys.

But if not, expect the conversation surrounding Garrett’s job status to heat up over the next few weeks.
