3. Chris Carson, RB

Before I get into the good, I must address the bad. Carson did cough up the ball once. He lost three fumbles last season, so he isn’t the surest handed back in the league. However, Carson was one of the most productive players for the Seahawks and the team wouldn’t have won the game without their star running back.

Carson played a significant role on the ground and through the air. He carried the ball 15 times for 46 yards and a touchdown. While that’s only 3.1 yards per carry, the Seahawks as a team only averaged 2.9 yards per carry.

He came up big time with a 21-yard run only a few minutes left in the game. It was Carson’s longest run of the day. He also caught six passes for 35 yards and another touchdown.

While I am giving this spot to Carson because he scored twice, Bobby Wagner and Russell Wilson both deserve brief mentions.

While neither of them did anything spectacular, both players did exactly what the team asked of them. Wagner made nine combined tackles, including seven solo tackles, and had two tackles for loss. Wilson completed 14 of 20 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the game with a 134.6 quarterback rating.
