Dallas Cowboys (1-0) at Washington Redskins (0-1)

Sunday, September 15, 1PM ET

Is it just me, or does it seem like the Washington Redskins’ first half of their season opener was a fluke? They choked away a strong lead against the Philadelphia Eagles, watching their NFC East foes take over in the second half and secure the win.

In this one, it’ll be a much different story. By that, I mean the Redskins will fall behind at the start and never catch a scent of the lead from there. The Dallas Cowboys look dangerous after Week 1, and chances are we’ll see another example of that in this Week 2 matchup.

The Dallas offense offers plenty of upside with guys like Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper. On top of that, they may own one of the NFL’s best defenses — and it’s only getting better. While the Redskins aren’t a pushover, Case Keenum and Adrian Peterson aren’t going to be enough to get it done.

The Cowboys look like one of the early favorites, even if their first win was against a subpar New York Giants club. Crushing the Redskins wouldn’t exactly be enough to book their trip to the Super Bowl, but it’ll continue to sway critics who questioned their ability to go the distance this season.

Prediction: Cowboys win 41-23
