Indianapolis Colts (0-1) at Tennessee Titans (1-0)

Sunday, September 15, 1PM ET

I hate making picks in Week 2. You know why? Because it’s so easy to make overreaction judgments about teams based off of one game. Here’s my conundrum right now: was it an awful game by the Cleveland Browns or are the Tennessee Titans ready to surprise in 2019?

I’m not sure what the answer is, but I’m rolling with the Titans in Week 2. Their defense was dominant against an explosive Cleveland offense, which shouldn’t be that surprising considering how well they played in 2018. Going up against the Indianapolis Colts, we should see more of the same.

Now that’s not to say the Colts are a pushover. While they may not have Andrew Luck under center, Jacoby Brissett is no joke. He kept Indianapolis in the game in Week 1, nearly knocking off the Los Angeles Chargers with strong play and an assist from Marlon Mack. That should make things very interesting when they venture to Nashville for this divisional showdown.

The Colts will keep in close, with Brissett putting together a couple of solid drives. Unfortunately, when the clock finally strikes zero, the Titans will own the led due in large part to their defense, with some assistance from Marcus Mariota, Derrick Henry and the Tennessee offense.

Prediction: Titans win 20-17
