Tight End

Start: Evan Engram (vs. Bills)

Evan Engram enjoyed his first game with Odell Beckham Jr. now in Cleveland where he tallied 11 receptions for 116 yards and a score for 17.6 fantasy points while leaping way over his projected 7.4 points. Now, with Sterling Shepard in the concussion protocol, he may miss time, which adds to the hype surrounding Engram.

Engram was the recipient of Eli Manning’s only passing touchdown of the game and the fact that he had 14 targets means he’s the No. 1 pass-catcher in the Giants offense for the foreseeable future and fantasy owners should be up in arms about this kid’s potential. Against a Buffalo defense who just gave up 14 receptions for 99 yards to Jets slot receiver Jamison Crowder, Engram is going to easily surpass his Week 2 projection of 7.1 points.

Sit: Vance McDonald (vs. Seahawks)

With high expectations going into the Week 1 matchup against the Patriots, the consensus suggested that Vance McDonald would be Ben Roethlisberger’s No. 2 target behind JuJu Smith-Schuster but that was not the case. McDonald only managed a minuscule 4.0 fantasy points on two catches for 40 yards on three targets.

McDonald now goes up against the tough Seattle defense with one of the best linebackers in the game, Bobby Wagner. Seattle held the Bengals tight ends to 93 yards and no scores, look for McDonald to have a similar Week 2 as he did in Week 1 and just miss his projected six points.
