RB Ronald Jones II

As I’ve already mentioned a couple of times before, Ronald Jones II had himself a pretty good game against the Niners in Week 1. He had 14 combined touches for almost 100 yards in the loss and looks poised to have a heavier workload on Thursday night.

More from NFL Spin Zone

After dealing with injuries and issues with the coaching staff last season, Jones looks to have a breakout second season. As long as he maintains the form he displayed on Sunday, he will be just fine. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him break 100 yards and get a score or two against the Panthers in primetime.

LB Devin White

The No. 5 overall pick in this past April’s NFL Draft had a solid debut, racking up six combined tackles, including five tackles. From his spot at the MIKE linebacker, Devin White has the speed to roam sideline to sideline and the intelligence to run defensive coordinator Todd Bowles’ scheme as a rookie.

He’s poised to have a long and bright career for the Buccaneers. I’ve already predicted he will lead the team in tackles for the first time in his career during Thursday night’s contest. Don’t be surprised if he does more than that against the Panthers, an offense that will surely give him ample opportunities to make plays.
