4. Ryan throws for over 400 yards

Despite how bad the Falcons looked in Week 1, the final line for quarterback Matt Ryan wasn’t bad at all. The veteran finished the game going 33-of-46 for 304 yards and two touchdowns. If not for the two interceptions that he tossed on the night, it would have been a solid game for the Atlanta quarterback.

The good news for Ryan and the Falcons offense, though, is that the Eagles secondary offers much less resistance than the Vikings did. After all, Case Keenum and the Redskins nearly put up 400 yards passing on them in Week 1. As such, Ryan and weapons like Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu and Calvin Ridley will shred the Philadelphia secondary and put up a monster passing game.

3. Wentz doesn’t get sacked on Sunday night

Many fans pointed to health as the biggest factor for why the Falcons defense struggled so mightily a year ago. However, you have to wonder if that was actually the case considering what Atlanta looked like in Week 1 while Minnesota ran the ball all over them. And though Kirk Cousins only threw 10 passes, he was comfortable when he did have to drop back as the Falcons couldn’t generate much pressure.

While this is a different game in Week 2, the Eagles offensive line is stronger than the Vikings’. The fact of the matter is that the Falcons defensive line is severely lacking in its current form. Outside of Grady Jarrett, there is no one in that group that truly scares you. Subsequently, the Eagles have the bodies to key in on him and keep Carson Wentz clean for the entire night, surrendering zero sacks for the game.
