NFL Week 3, 2019: 5 Teams on upset alert
By Dan Parzych
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
A few weeks ago, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers seemed like the last team that anyone would expect on a list like this, mainly because their opening weekend loss to the San Francisco 49ers made it seem like they were in for another rough year.

Instead, the Buccaneers managed to bounce back in one of the strongest ways possible during a short week by handing the Carolina Panthers a tough loss on the road, showing there may be some hope after all for Bruce Arians’ squad.
Back in the offseason, Tampa Bay hired Arians with the hope of the head coach getting the best out of the offense, and while he certainly has a long way to go, the team’s Week 2 win was a huge step in the right direction.
Does this mean that Tampa Bay will be able to take advantage of an extra few days off during Sunday’s meeting at home with the New York Giants?
Comparing these two teams on paper, the Buccaneers should be able to earn the win, but imagine if Daniel Jones comes out firing in his first career start, and makes this game more interesting than originally expected.
If this turns out to be the case, Tampa Bay’s defense better be ready.
