Following the Atlanta Falcons loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 4 of the regular season, here are three studs and duds for the Falcons in the defeat.

Coming off of a disappointing loss on the road in Week 3 to the Indianapolis Colts a week ago, the Atlanta Falcons entered a fresh new week of the 2019 NFL regular season looking to get back on track and improving their record back to the .500 mark through four weeks.

On Sunday afternoon at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, however, the Falcons put together another disappointing showing to fall at home to an AFC opponent in the Tennessee Titans.

Tennessee jumped out to a lead early on in the game and never looked back. The Titans grabbed a 14-7 lead after the first quarter and jumped out to a 24-7 advantage heading into halftime on the road to push the game out of reach in the opening half. Atlanta was able to tally on three more points with a field goal in the third quarter, but couldn’t ultimately do enough to battle back into the contest.

With the loss, the Falcons have now stretched their losing streak to two games in a row and have dropped to 1-3 on the season through four weeks of action. With the defeat, Atlanta also fell at home for the first time of the 2019 campaign. Atlanta will hit the road for a matchup against the Houston Texans at noon next Sunday in Houston.

In the win for Tennessee, the Titans improved back to the .500 mark while jumping up to 2-2 overall, ending a two-game losing streak that they maintained coming into the Week 4 matchup against the Falcons. Tennessee will return back home in Week 5 when they are faced with a tough test in facing the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon.

Following Atlanta’s second straight loss and third of the season on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta, let’s take a look back at the game and pick out three studs and three duds for the Falcons.
