7. Los Angeles Rams (3)

After looking at their previous three wins, the Los Angeles Rams seemed to receive a gift for their final game of September by getting to host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home.

Nothing against the Buccaneers, but their Week 3 collapse against the New York Giants made it seem like the team was still a work in progress.

Turns out, the Rams were the ones that were caught off guard in this one after allowing Tampa Bay to put up a franchise record 55 points, which is simply just embarrassing for the defending NFC champions.

Plenty of factors came into play for the ugly results in this one, but Los Angeles won’t be able to escape all of the criticism coming Jared Goff‘s way.

No quarterback like Goff should be forced to record 68 pass attempts in a single game, and it was even more concerning to watch the former No. 1 pick add four more turnovers to his 2019 total (10).

Los Angeles made a bold decision when they decided to reward Goff with a hefty contract at the beginning of September, but it’s easy to make the case that he has yet to even come close to living up to the deal so far.

If Goff doesn’t figure out a way to turn things around fast, the Rams could be in serious troubler sooner rather than later.
