Green Bay Packers (3-1) at Dallas Cowboys (3-1)

Sunday, October 6, 4:25PM ET

This was a hard one to pick. Seriously, these are two evenly matched teams that both have the potential to make a deep playoff run. Unfortunately, I have to select one of them. In this instance, I’m putting my (figurative) money on the Green Bay Packers to get the W.

Why? Well, for starters, I think they’ve been the slightly better team this season. Sure, they’ve had some defensive snoozers. At the same time, their offense has been balanced and steps up when it’s needed most. It’s their defense that tips the scales, though.

Right now, Green Bay owns one of the NFL’s most ferocious pass rushes. They’ve made easy work of getting after opposing quarterbacks this season. To make matters worse for the Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, they’ll be without All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith (ankle) in Week 5. That means we’ll see plenty of pressure on Prescott for all four quarters.

Sure, the Cowboys have plenty of weapons to work with on offense. With that said, if the New Orleans Saints could hold them to 10 points, the Packers can have similar success. Add in some late-game heroics from Aaron Rodgers, and the end result is a Green Bay win on the road.

Prediction: Packers win 21-16
