Los Angeles Rams (3-1) at Seattle Seahawks (3-1)

Thursday, October 3, 8:20PM ET

Is it just me, or are the Los Angeles Rams the least impressive 3-1 team so far this season? Despite several ugly performances, they’ve managed a strong start but aren’t going to get any breaks in the NFC West. Evidence of this fact will come in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks.

Especially at CenturyLink Field, it’s going to be a daunting task for the Rams to come away with the win. Jared Goff’s numbers look nice, but he’s turning the ball over far too much and the ground game hasn’t been the game-changer it was a year ago. On top of that, the Los Angeles defense has taken a significant step backward.

As for the Seahawks, they’ve surprised through the first quarter of the 2019 campaign. Although the offense can be flat at times, the Seattle defense has done its part to win games. Apart from a hiccup against the New Orleans Saints, the Seahawks have proved that they belong in the NFC West championship discussion this year.

Look for the Seattle defense to get after Goff early and often, forcing him to make too many mistakes to overcome. A late-game strip sack or interception seals the deal for the Seahawks, who come away with the home win against their division rivals.

Prediction: Seahawks win 27-24
