13. Thomas, Kamara combine for four touchdowns

Watching the New Orleans Saints bounce back after losing Drew Brees to a thumb injury by winning two tough games in a row to the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys shows this is the last team anyone should sleep on in the NFC.

As long as the Saints can continue finding ways to win key games with Teddy Bridgewater under center, it’s only going to benefit Drew Brees in a big way when the veteran is healthy enough to return.

The good news for Bridgewater is having weapons such as Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas to rely on makes the whole process much easier to deal with on offense.

After both stars failed to find the end zone even once during the team’s Week 4 win over the Dallas Cowboys, this most likely won’t be an issue when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers come to town this weekend.

While the Buccaneers are coming off a thrilling 55-40 win over the Los Angeles Rams that shocked most of the NFL world, their defense is the perfect example of what kind of afternoon the Saints could be in for.

Once again, Bridgewater will most likely heavily rely on his duo consisting of Kamara and Thomas to put the Saints in the best position possible to improve to 4-1.

Even if combining for four touchdowns sounds like a bit of a stretch, when it comes to these two, it doesn’t sound so crazy to consider.
